Julia Potter – Mat Pilates Teacher

SolSpace Pilates & Movement

Julia is a Polestar certified Pilates Matwork instructor in constant awe of the transformative power of movement. Initially taking classes to alleviate general aches & pains, she found Pilates to be much more than a system of physical exercise; rather, an holistic approach to whole body health & wellbeing.

Julia teaches a style of Pilates that progresses small, isolated movements into full body integrative sequences. Emphasis is on technique & precise movement, with the ultimate aim of establishing efficient movement patterns which then carry over into everyday life. Classes are engaging & immersive, with changing choreography & options for modification, allowing you to work at your own level of challenge. Expect to feel taller, stronger, lighter & more confident in your own skin.

Erin Parish – Exercise Physiologist

Erin is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist & Studio director at EP. EP. Exercise Physiology + Movement.

Erin is super passionate about movement, exercise and positive lifestyle habits – because we are in the drivers seat of our lives and therefore we are in control of creating positive, healthful change. With a special interest in Strength & Conditioning for beginners and safe weight training for Osteoporosis, her classes are incredibly effective, empowering AND fun. They are Perfect if you’ve never trained before but want to feel (and be) strong, see change and improve your whole wellbeing.

Najwa Allen – Exercise Physiologist

Najwa is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and hold her certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness. She has a passion for movement & exercise, is super skilled in all things strength training (our fave!), working with special populations, training for sports performance & supporting you to reach your goals + thrive!

Najwa is relaxed, understanding and adaptable ensuring you feel supported, understood and totally capable of achieving your movement goals.

Kirsten Alderson – Yoga Teacher

Authentik Yoga – taking both Genlte Yoga, Restorative & Prenatal & Mums + Bubs.

Having worked in the not for profit sector for many years, Kirsten lives and breathes community and connection. She is a 350hr RYT who specialises in restorative yoga practices. Kirsten brings the perfect balance of stillness and sunshine to every practice she teaches. Her classes have been described as ‘a refreshingly playful and relaxing yoga adventure that caters for both young and old’. Every student is respected as an individual and is felt supported throughout their practice. Spend an hour with Kirsten and you will be reminded of the importance to breathe and ‘just be’.

Amnys Darbyshire – Yoga Teacher

Mondays Yoga for All class – A mix of Hatha & Vinyasa yoga

Amnys has been teaching since 2013, she has studied under many amazing teachers from various traditions and styles.  She draws upon this knowledge to bring a depth of insight and inspiration to each of her classes.

The benefits of Yoga intertwine with all aspects of life. It is through the practice of Asana and Pranayama that we are able to cultivate a steady mind.  Amnys invites students to take their yoga practice from the mat and into their daily lives.

As well as being a yogi, Amnys has 15 years experience as a massage therapist – now specialising in Womb & Fertility massage. She is also currently undertaking a Bachelor in Visual Art. Through her teaching, hands on work and artistic practice, it is her intention to encourage and inspire others to live fully, bring joy to their hearts and help make positive change in the world.

Kara Moore – Exercise Physiologist

Kara is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise Sports Science Australia. She was born and raised in Whyalla and is a country girl at heart.

Kara has always loved movement and was a dancer (ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary) through school, loves her strength and conditioning, and has recently discovered a love of Muay Thai and MMA (mixed martial arts). Kara is down to earth, friendly and keen to make your experience with movement a great one.
