Chronic Disease is becoming more and more common today, many of us know someone who has high blood pressure, diabetes or is obese. Quite possibly, you may know someone that has to manage all 3 – this is deeply concerning as many of these conditions can be managed effectively (some prevented) with the incorporation of healthy lifestyle habits and physical activity.
Accredited Exercise Physiologists work in conjunction with your GP and other Allied Health professionals to facilitate positive lifestyle changes which allow you to better manage your health. An AEP will look at movement, exercise and functionality as the key areas for change. AEP’s will also consider your condition and any contraindications which ensures that movement is safe and within your own individual limitations.
